There were a mix of emotions as the Seniors of Conval took the floor for the last time at home this season tonight. The Cougars 7 seniors worked hard and took the first set from Hanover 25-21. Great serving from senior captain Joanna Adams and Jaylyn Desrosiers finished off the first set. The Cougars fought to keep the second set close and after a missed kill attempt and missed serve receive lost the 2nd set 26-28 to the marauders. The Cougars once again took the floor in the 3rd set with momentum and intensity and kept the game close. Unfortunately 2 missed serves in the final points left the cougars short with a 21-25 set loss. Set 4 brought a lot of emotions back as seniors felt it could be their last set at home. Missed serves, digs, and kills from the cougars gave the marauders the edge and the 16-25 victory. Senior Riley Codman had 4 blocks on the night and 4 kills. Molly Cole added a block and 5 kills. Joanna Adams had 10 assists. Mary Grossi played great defense and passed 14 digs and 12 successful serve receives. Michele Hartwell also had solid defense and had 11 successful serve receives and 8 digs. 

The cougar volleyball team took the floor tonight against the Spartans of Milford. The volley's were intense and each team fought back and forth in the first set. The score was tied at 16-16 before the Spartans went on a streak and took the lead winning the first set 18-25. The second set started in a similar fashion however the cougars took the early 4-0 lead. The Spartans tied the game at 5-5 and it was a battle to the end. Midway through the 2nd set Senior captain Riley Codman achieved the 100th block of her career and 42nd block of the season. The crowd went wild. The cougars had a 6 point lead going into the final few points but the Spartans libero served the remainder of the game. The cougars lost the set 19-25. Falling behind early the cougars struggled with the Spartans serving and keeping their intensity and lost the 3rd set 12-25. Leading the team defensively were Michele Hartwell,Joanna Adams, and Mary Grossi with a combined total of 29 successful serve receives and 20 digs. Riley Codman had 3 blocks and a kill on the night, Molly Cole had a block and 4 kills, and Joanna Adams had 3 kills and 5 assists. Savannah Kersbergen also added a block on the evening.

The Cougar volleyball team played against Manchester West this evening. The Cougars were able to take the first set with a 25-17 victory behind the serving of Joanna Adams who served the first 9 points of the set. The second and third sets were both captured by the cougars as well with set scores of 25-11 and 25-10 respectively. The cougars dominated serving as Michele Hartwell had 2 aces, Riley Codman had 3 aces, Jaylyn Desrosiers had 4 aces, and Joanna Adams set a new school record with a DOZEN aces in a game. Offensively Savannah Kersbergen had 4 kills and 2 blocks, Mary Grossi had 4 kills, Jaylyn Desrosiers had 6 kills, and Riley Codman, Emma Golden and Molly Cole had a pair of kills apiece. Joanna Adams also had 11 assists on the night. The team had big contributions from every member and worked together to take home the win tonight!!

The Cougars of Conval came out tonight in their annual pink night in support of the American Cancer Society and those that have had/have cancer. The Cougars were dressed in pink and the Souhegan Sabers were dressed in Tye-dye with pink numbers. The Cougars came out with intensity and stayed with the Sabers through point 17 before the Sabers took the first set 25 - 18. The Cougars did not give up and took an early lead in the 2nd set. Up by 8 points, the Cougars were able to hold on winning the set 18-25. The third set was the Sabers all the way with the Cougars struggling to handle the intense serving of Sabers #21. The set score was a 13-25 loss. The Cougars again took a 4th set lead scoring 4 points before the Sabers were on the board but behind the serving of #21 were able to catch up and capture the victory 16 - 25 for the Sabers. The final score 3 sets to 1 set in favor of Souhegan. Leading the Cougars offensive charge were Emma Golden and Jaylyn Desrosiers each with 5 kills and Joanna Adams and Mary Grossi each had 3 aces. Joanna Adams also had 11 assists on the night. Defensively Mary Grossi had 18 digs and 17 serve receives, Michele Hartwell had 6 digs and 12 serve receives, and Lilly James had 5 digs and 11 serve receives. Sydney Crete also added 9 serve receives and 5 digs and Molly Cole had 2 big blocks at the net!

The cougars volleyball team traveled to Hanover tonight. Hanover came out strong but the Cougars fought and played really well digging many tips, keeping the ball in play, and working as one. Hanover took the 3 set victory despite the cougar's hard work. The set scores were 25-19, 25-11, and 25-19. In the 3rd set the Cougars had a 7 point streak to bring them within one point of Hanover prior to making 5 serve receive errors that cost them the set. Leading the Cougars offense was Riley Codman with 2 blocks and 4 kills and Emma Golden with 3 kills. Joanna Adams had 7 assists on the night. Defensively Sydney Crete had a great game with 9 serve receives and 6 digs, Mary Grossi had 11 serve receives and 9 digs, and Michele Hartwell had 10 serve receives and 5 digs.

The Cougars of CV took the floor last night against the Pythons of Pelham in Pelham. The Pythons were having a special night in support of their local substance abuse prevention coalition and the entire gym was decorated in purple! The Cougars came out well defensively and were able to take the win with a 3 set to 1 set victory. The set scores were 25 -11, 25 -16, a 3rd set loss 19 - 25, and 25 - 10. Leading the Cougars charge offensively were Emma Golden with 4 kills and Mary Grossi with 3 kills. Michele Hartwell had 9 serving aces on the night and Jaylyn Desrosiers had 5. Joanna Adams had 7 assists and Sydney Crete, making her debut as a setter, had 2 assists. Michele Hartwell, Mary Grossi, Jaylyn Desrosiers, and Joanna Adams had a cumulative 34 digs on the night and Lilly James had 10 of her own!  

The Cougars took the floor in Fall Mountain tonight to a very back and forth game. The wildcats took the lead in the first set but the cougars were able to come back to take the set 25-20. The Wildcats went on a 5 point streak in the 2nd set to capture the victory 25-17.The Cougars and wildcats fought in the 3rd set before the cougars finished with a 25-22 set score and the Cougars finished strong in the last set 25-18. The Cougars move to 4-6 on the season following tonight's victory! Leading the Cougars were Savannah Kersbergen with 6 kills, Riley Codman with 5 kills and 6 blocks, and Emma Golden with 5 kills. Joanna Adams had three amazing game changing digs and 12 assists on the night. Jaylyn Desrosiers and Joanna Adams each had 4 aces on the night and Mary Grossi added 5 aces to the mix. Defensively Mary Grossi had 10 digs, Michele Hartwell had 9 digs and Lilly James had 8.

The Cougars came out strong against the Knights of Manchester West tonight in Peterborough following a moment of silence in memory of a loving teacher and colleague, Nick Seymour, who passed away yesterday in a tragic car accident. The cougars played tough and never gave up. They won the first set 25-23 after allowing Manchester West to score 6 straight points at the end of the set. The cougars took over the 2nd set with a set score of 25-10 before taking the victory with a 25-16 3rd set score. Jaylyn Desrosiers had 6 kills, Savannah Kersbergen had 3 kills, and Emma Golden had 4 kills. Riley Codman had 3 blocks on the night and Joanna Adams had 13 assists. Defensively Michelle Hartwell had 13 serve receives and 7 digs while Mary Grossi added 6 serve receives and 6 digs.  

The Cougars of Conval faced the Generals of John stark tonight in Henniker. The Generals came out strong both with very tough hits and serves throwing the Cougars off their game. The Generals took all 3 sets for the victory with set scores of 25-10, 25-8 and 25-19. Leading the team defensively was libero Michele Hartwell with 14 serve receives and 3 digs. Mary Grossi added 8 serve receives and 12 digs. Joanna Adams had 5 assists on the night while Riley Codman had 4 blocks and 2 kills. Molly Cole added 2 blocks and a kill as well.

The Cougars took the floor tonight against the Pythons of Pelham. Although the cougars struggled with serving at times, they came out victorious in a 3-0 win. The set scores were 25-15, 26-24, and 25-17. The cougars were lead by senior captain Joanna Adams who had 8 serving aces, 7 assists, and 4 digs. Mary Grossi played well defensively having 7 successful serve receives and 7 digs. Grossi also added 4 serving aces. Jaylyn Desrosiers added 8 digs for the team and Molly Cole and Riley Codman each had a block at the net.

The Cougars took the floor tonight against the Sachems of Laconia during their homecoming match. Laconia came out on top with the 3-0 victory. Set scores were 25-11, 25-15, and 25-17. Leading the team offensively were Riley Codman and Molly Cole each with 4 kills. Mary Grossi had 12 successful serve receives and 6 digs while Jaylyn Desrosiers added 6 digs. Joanna Adams played well with 10 assists and Molly Cole had 4 blocks at the net. 

     The Cougar volleyball team took the floor tonight against the Spartans from Milford at the Milford middle school. The Cougars struggled to handle the tough offensive hitting from the Milford team. Milford took all 3 sets with set scores of 25-15, 25-13, and 25-13! Riley Codman had 5 blocks and 4 hits on the night while Emma Golden added 4 kills of her own. Molly Cole had 2 aces, a block, and 3 kills playing very aggressive and smart at the net. Joanna Adams had 9 assists, 7 successful serve receives, and 7 digs. Mary Grossi added 8 digs and 8 serve receives while Michele Hartwell added 8 successful serve receives and 5 digs.

 The Cougar volleyball team took the floor against the very motivated Sabers tonight in Souhegan. The game started with a Saber 5 point lead which the Cougars were able to come back from and the point battle went back and forth until the Sabers took the first set 27-25. The battle continued as the Cougars took the second set 26-24. The sabers overpowered the cougars in the next two sets with very difficult serving and captured the 11-25 and 15-25 victory! Leading the cougars tonight were Jaylyn Desrosiers with 5 kills, 2 assists, and a serving ace. Joanna Adams added 8 Aces, 10 assists, and 8 digs. Riley Codman had 4 kills and 3 blocks, and Michele Hartwell played great defensively with 14 successful serve receives and 13 digs.

The Cougars came out strong tonight in their home match against Fall Mountain. Senior captain Joanna Adams started the first match with 8 service points 6 of the points were aces! Following Michele Hartwell had 10 service points giving the cougars the 18-5 lead. the Cougars finished the set with a 25-12 victory. The second set started in a similar fashion as the Cougars won the first point and Joanna Adams and Michele Hartwell scored the first 8 points of the set with 3 ace serves in the mix. The cougars won the 2nd set with a score of 25-12. The 3rd match was also a victory for the cougars with a 25-21 set score over the wildcats. Leading the defense was Mary Grossi with 8 serve receives and 5 digs, while Haley Davis had 5 serve receives and 3 digs. Riley Codman had 8 kills and 2 blocks on the night, Savannah Kersbergen and Joanna Adams had 3 kills a piece with Joanna adding 12 assists. Both Molly Cole and Jaylyn Desrosiers added a pair of kills as well!

The Cougars came out strong tonight in their home opener against John Stark. The teams battled the entire first set point for point with the win going to the Generals 25 -20. The Generals took over the second set early as the Cougars struggled to return the serve losing the set 25-13. The third set was a battle to the end with the Cougars sneaking out with the 26-24 victory forcing a 4th set. The Cougars took an early lead in the 4th set but were over powered once again by the Stark serving and lost the set 25-18. Leading the Cougars tonight were Joanna Adams with 7 assists, Riley Codman with 9 kills and 5 blocks, Mary Grossi with 19 digs, Lilly James with 9 digs, and Jaylyn Desrosiers with 14 digs. Morgan Stacy came off the bench in the third and forth sets and recorded 10 successful serve receives and 8 digs.

The Conval Volleyball season opener took place last night in Durham against Oyster River. The Cougars came out strong both offensively and defensively and were able to stay with the bobcats until they missed three serves in a row allowing the bobcats a 16 - 10 lead in the first set. Oyster River took it from there and won the game 3 sets - 0 sets. Riley Codman lead the team offensively with 4 kills and 5 blocks while Joanna Adams added 5 assists and a service ace. Defensively Mary Grossi had 18 serve receives and 10 digs and Michele Hartwell had 12 serve receives and 7 digs.
