The Cougars took the field behind Kendall Sullivan on the mound in their last home game of the regular season against Campbell yesterday. Campbell quickly scored 4 runs off the Cougars in the 1st inning and continued to score until the game ended in the 5th inning with a score of 13-0 in favor of Campbell. The Campbell pitcher gave up one walk to Morgan Bemont but otherwise pitched a no-hitter. The Cougars fought hard making contact 11 times but unfortunately the defense for Campbell was flawless. Kendall Sullivan took the loss, pitching 5 innings, facing 33 batters and allowing 14 hits, 1 walk, and striking out 1. Morgan Bemont had a great game at shortstop, Mairin Burgess made 6 plays at 3rd and Samantha Henderson played great in her first game behind the plate, fielding several bunts and earning the respect of the Campbell runners.
