The Boys JV Cougars grinded out a home win last Friday afternoon. There seemed to be a lid on the JV Cougars hoops as they only scored 14 points in the first half and trailed 26 to 24 after three quarter of play. However, with extensive defensive pressure and an amped up lineup the Cougars won the 4th quarter 14-7 and took home another W with a 38 to 33 victory. Colby Knight ended with 6 points but really sparked the Cougars in the second half with his pestering defensive ball pressure and aggressive attacks on the basket. Trevor Faber followed in Colby's footsteps on the defensive end and also hit a couple clutch 4th quarter jumpers ending with 10 points. Will Theriault hit a couple big 3rd quarter 3 pointers and ended with 9 points overall. The Cougars head over to Windham on Tuesday for their next game.
