After a very long drive and a delay, the Cougars took the floor at Kennett last night as they honored their seniors. The Cougars came out flat and fell to a quick deficit they were unable to overcome in the first set losing 18-25. The Cougars came back with a vengeance in the second set and took the 25-9 victory and then won the third and fourth sets 25-22 and 25-16 respectively.
Leading the Cougars was Emma Rodenhiser with a new Season record of 19 kills. She also had 5 digs and 2 blocks on the night. Kendall Sullivan added 12 assists and 2 aces while Aria Laurent had 7 assists and 3 aces. Ivy Armstrong-McEvoy had 7 kills, 3 blocks, 3 aces, and 4 digs and Libero Samantha Henderson had 4 aces, 25 good serve receives, and 16 digs. Ashlynn Williams had a season high 5 kills on the evening as well.
The Cougars are headed to Souhegan on Friday 10/7 and are now 8-3 on the season.
