The Cougars took the floor tonight for their first time match-up with the Hillcats of Hillsborough-Deering. The Cougars dominated the 1st set 25-5, but struggled some with 5 missed serves and some back and forth calls in the 2nd set before taking the set win 28-26. The Cougars led the 3rd set from the start but the Hillcats made a comeback late in the set before the Cougars won the set 25-19. The Cougars took the victory 3 sets - 0 sets for their 5th win of the season!
Leading the Cougars was Aria Laurent with 5 kills, 2 aces, 4 assists, and 6 digs. Emma Rodenhiser had 5 kills as well and 5 aces while Ivy Armstrong-McEvoy had 6 aces. Kendall Sullivan had 8 assists and Samantha Henderson had 14 digs and 17 successful serve receives.
