The Cougars took the floor at Oyster River tonight eager to play but were quickly in over their heads as Oyster River attacked from all sides. The Cougars struggled to dig and set up attacks themselves and lost the first two sets 10-25 and 8-25. Not willing to give up, the Cougars fought in the 3rd and were tied at 15 but the Bobcats were able to finish it with a 17-25 set victory.
Leading the Cougars were Emma Rodenhiser with an ace, 2 blocks and 5 kills (which makes her the new record holder for kills in a season with 110). Kendall Sullivan had 3 assists, 3 digs and a kill, Aria Laurent had an ace, a kill, 2 assists and 3 digs, and libero Samantha Henderson had an ace and 8 digs.
