The Cougars traveled to Somersworth this evening for their last game of the season. Somersworth began the night by acknowledging all 8 seniors in the gym and the games began. The Hilltoppers and Cougars battled back and fourth capitalizing on the other team's mistakes until the cougars pulled ahead at point 18 and took the first set 25-21. The Hilltoppers, not to be shown up in their gym, took the next 3 sets with set scores 14-25, 16-25, and 18-25. The Cougars fell to 1-15 on the season. Leading the Cougars were Molly Cole with 4 kills and 2 aces, Haiden Burnside with 4 aces, Isis Battaglia with 3 kills, 2 blocks, and 2 aces, Julia Donovan who had 2 kills and 3 digs, and Kendall Sullivan with 2 aces and 4 kills. Defense was lead by Lillian James who had 14 successful serve receives and 11 digs and Haley Davis who had 10 successful serve receives and 8 digs!
