The Cougars took the court tonight against the Marauders of Hanover. The Cougars had a tough time with the first Hanover server but was able to recover and play hard. The Marauders took the win in the first set 25-13. Fighting all the way back and forth the second set was a close one right down to the final point with a 25-23 win in favor of Hanover. The 3rd set was close with some great serving but unfortunately the cougars fell short losing 16-25. Leading the team defensively and offensively was captain Lillian James with 3 aces, 2 kills, and 12 digs. Molly Cole had an ace, 2 kills and 8 digs, while Izabella Ketchersid had 5 digs and 10 successful serve receives. Molly Tyle, Kendall Sullivan and Haley Davis each had kills as well and Libero Chloe Ahern played a great game defensively. The Cougars fall to 0-2 on the season.
