The Cougars took the court tonight against the sabers of Souhegan. Coming out flat the cougars lost the first two sets 10-25 apiece struggling with the hard jump serve and hitting of saber Senior #21 Katie O'Brien. The start of the 3rd set went the cougars way as Chloe Ahern got her first ace of the season on the team's first serve. The intensity just rose from there and the cougars were able to get a lead until point 17. The last 8 points were a back and forth contest with the cougars coming up short 23-25. The final game 3 sets - 0 sets in favor of the Sabers. Leading the cougars offense were Savannah Kersbergen with 5 kills and an assist, Hannah LeComte with 5 assists, Lillian James with 2 kills and 1 ace, and Molly Cole with 3 assists and 1 kill. Lillian James led the defense with 14 successful serve receives and 8 digs.
