The Cougars took the court tonight against Oyster River in Durham. The cougars fought hard but lost 3 sets - 0 sets. The set scores were 14-25, 11-25, and 14-25. The cougars played hard but really struggled with Oyster River's hard serving and weak side attacks. Leading the defense were Lillian James with 8 successful serve receives and 8 digs and Haley Davis with 6 successful serve receives and 3 digs. Morgan Stacy also had 7 successful serve receives. Leading the offense were Molly Cole with 4 assists and a kill, Isis Battaglia with 3 kills, and Savannah Kerbergen with 2 kills. Lillian James added 2 aces and Nadia Kazlauskas and Isis Battaglia each had a block!
