The Cougars took the field tonight after the Senior Celebration. Kendall Sullivan was on the mound and it was a beautiful day for softball. Sanborn jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead after 2 infield errors and a double up the left field line but the Cougars answered with one in the first as Morgan Bemont hit a single to right field and Lily Mandel bombed a double off the center field fence scoring Bemont. In the 3rd, Samantha Henderson reached on a fielder's choice bunt and Morgan Bemont scored her on a right field dropped fly ball. It was tied at 2! Sanborn's lead-off hitter scored in the top of the 5th and the Cougars answered in the 6th as Bemont doubled and Mandel singled, plating Bemont. In the bottom of the 7th, Senior Mackenzie Gauthier got to 2nd on a right field ball, and with 2 outs, Bemont crushed a double to right-center plating Gauthier for the 4-3 win!! 

    Leading the Cougar offense were Morgan Bemont 3-4 reaching all 4 times with a single, 2 doubles, 2 runs scored and 2RBI. Mackenzie Gauthier reached 3 times and scored a run and Mandel was 2-3 with a single, a double, and 2 RBI. 

   Kendall Sullivan went 7 innings facing 31 batters, allowing 3 runs on 4 hits and 4 errors. She struck out 6 and only allowed 2 walks.
