The CV Cougars took the field tonight at home against the Cougars of Coe-Brown. Kendall Sullivan was on the mound and the night was beautiful. The Cougars scored 3 runs on 13 hits this evening and stranded 10 runners on base and unfortunately lost the game 8-3. Leading the offense were Morgan Bemont 3-3 with a walk, 3 singles and an RBI, Kendall Sullivan 2-4 with a single and a double, Mackenzie Anderson 2-4 with a single, double, and 2 RBI and Mairin Burgess 3-3 with 2 singles, a double and a run scored. Also scoring for the Cougars were Avery Moore, and Hannah Beisang who courtesy ran for Sullivan.
Kendall pitched 7 innings facing 38 batters, allowing 8 runs on 9 hits, 2 errors, and 5 walks. Only 4 runs were earned runs and she struck out 8.
