The Cougars took the field tonight in Hollis-Brookline behind Junior pitcher Lily Mandel. The Cougars got their lead-off batter, Samantha Henderson, on and Morgan Bemont also reached with a single in the 1st before the side was retired on a line drive by Mandel. Mackenzie Anderson reached in the 2nd on a right side single, Mackenzie Gauthier and Bemont each reached in the 3rd on a walk. In the 6th, Avery Moore got a single and Bemont walked but the Cougars remained scoreless and stranded 6. The Cougars made their attack in the 7th with a pinch hit single by Hannah Beisang, a single by Henderson, and an RBI single by Moore before the 3-1 loss tonight.
