The Cougars took the field tonight on a very large Claremont field behind Lily Mandel. Both teams remained scoreless in the first 3 innings and the Cougars were first to score in the 4th. With 2 outs, Kendall Sullivan roped a single and Senior Mackenzie Anderson hit an in the park homerun. Senior Mackenzie Gauthier reached on a infield single before the last out was made. Stevens answered with 3 of their own runs to take the 3-2 lead until Avery Moore reached on a single stole second, made it to 3rd on an over throw and scored on a Samantha Henderson ground ball. Each team scored in the 6th and the score was tied at 4. The Cougars rallied in the 7th on a walk, to Samantha Henderson, a catcher error into right field plating Henderson, a double by Morgan Bemont, a single by Sullivan and a double by Anderson scoring 3 runs. Stevens had 2 on but were unable to score and the Cougars won 7-4. 

    Kendall Sullivan was 3-4 with 3 singles all resulting in runs. Morgan Bemont was 2-4 with 2 doubles and a run. Mackenzie Anderson was 2-4 with a homerun, a double, 3 RBI, and a run and Mairin Burgess was 2-3 with a double, triple, and RBI.

     Mandel started and pitched 4 innings, facing 18 batters, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits, 1 walk and striking out 4. Kendall Sullivan pitched 3 innings and took the win, facing 24 batters, allowing 3 hits, 2 walks, and striking out 4.
