The Conval softball team traveled to Souhegan tonight to play the Sabers. Samantha Henderson was able to start the game with a single in the first and stole around the bases to score a run for CV but the Sabers responded with a run of their own. Both teams remained scoreless in the second but the Cougars were able to plate a run in the 3rd as Samantha Henderson struck out but reached on a drop 3rd strike. She then stole around again and scored on a past ball to Morgan Bemont helping the cougars take the 2-1 lead. The Sabers respond with a 4 run inning on 4 hits and an error in the 3rd to take the lead back 5-2. However, the Cougars broke the game wide open in the 5th scoring 6 runs on 3 hits, 3 walks, and 2 hit batters. The Cougars also plated 3 runs in thr 6th and 2 in the 7th to capture the 14-5 victory. 

  Samantha Henderson lead the team with 4 runs on 2 hits, Morgan Bemont had 2 walks, a double, triple, 2 runs, and 4 RBI, snd Lily Mandel, Kendall Sullivan, and Mackenzie Anderson each scored 2 runs. 

   Lily Mandel took the mound for the Cougars pitching 2 1/3 innings allowing 5 runs on 6 hits, 1 walk, and striking out 1. Kendall Sullivan came on in relief and got the win pitching 4 2/3 innings allowing 2 hits, no walks, and striking out 3.
