The Cougars took the field Friday night to celebrate their seniors in a 2-1 victory over Manchester West. The Cougars scored early in the first after a single by Senior Breanna Hutchinson and an RBI single by Lily Mandel. They plated their 2nd run in the 3rd off a perfect bunt from Samantha Henderson, a stolen 2nd base, and another RBI single from Mandel. The defense was tight and only allowed Manchester West one run in the 3rd off a bunt single followed by an RBI double to deep left! Mandel captured the win pitching 7 innings, facing 28 batters, allowing 3 hits, striking out 8 and only walking 2 and once again Bemont had a solid game behind the plate!
