    Here is the recap on yesterday's game...

  The Cougars traveled to Manchester West yesterday to celebrate their seniors. The Cougars came out on fire in the 1st having all 3 of the lead off batters reach after an error and 2 singles by Breanna Hutchinson and Morgan Bemont. The Cougars would only score 1 run though as the 4 and 5 hitters both struck out. The 2nd was the Cougars time to shine. Rylee Blanchette led off with a triple to right and Mackenzie Gauthier followed with a triple to left. Sam Henderson reached on a hard hit ground ball to 3rd and Hutchinson and Bemont each added a single before Mandel hit a triple. The Cougars scored 5 in the inning. The Cougars continued to score in the 4th on a single from Bemont, another triple by Mandel and a line drive from Mairin Burgess. The Cougars plated 3 more in the 5th inning off an error, a triple by Hutchinson, and an RBI single by Bemont. All in all the Cougars won with a score of 11-5. Lily Mandel did the pitching facing 32 batters, allowing 5 runs on 9 hits and no walks. She struck out 11 on the day! Leading the offense were Breanna Hutchinson who was 3-4 with a pair of singles, a triple, 3 runs scored, and 2 RBI, Morgan Bemont was 4-5 with 4 singles, 2 runs scored and 3 RBI and Lily Mandel was 2-4 with a pair of triples and 2 RBI.
