Today the Cougars softball team took the field to play Windham. The game started a little late at 4:45 and the Cougars came out a little flat! Windham scored early in the 1st and plated 4 runs. The Cougar offense unfortunately didnt get a hit until the 4th inning when Jaden Hubbard-Lemay hit a single over the 3rd baseman's head. Taylor Jarest roped a single to left-center field in the 5th as the only other hit of the game. Shannon Allen and Sarah Dauphinais walked to reach base for the Cougars as well. Unfortunately all runners were left stranded. Rachyl Parslow started on the mound for the Cougars and went 2 innings giving up 15 runs on 6 hits and a handful of fielding errors by the Cougars. Jaden Hubbard-Lemay came on in the 3rd and pitched the final 3 innings of the game. She did well giving up just 4 runs, striking out 2, and making every out in the 5th inning for the Cougars.
