The Cougars took the field today for their home opener against Milford. The cougar defense held strong early allowing only 4 runs going into the 4th. The Cougars had 4 hits on the day, 2 from Sarah Dauphinais, 1 from Kylee Brown and 1 from Natalia Hautanen and left 7 base runners stranded. Pitching for the Cougars was Jayden Hubbard-Lemay going 4 and 2/3 innings allowing 10 hits and 11 runs with 2 walks and a strikeout. Rachyl Parslow came in for relief going 1 and 1/3 innings allowing 3 hits and walking just 1. The final result 13-0 Milford.
