GOFFSTOWN HIGH SCHOOL: 6
The CV Boys Tennis Team lost the first match of the 2023 season, a 6-3 loss to Goffstown/CV has only 5 players this season so we begin each match with a 2-0 deficit. But knowing that, the CV players went out and competed in each of the remaining 6 matches, winning 3 of them. Harrison won his singles, 8-3, and then partnered newcomer Carter to an 8-3 win at #2 doubles. Jake won his singles, 8-4, and he and Wyatt came back from a 0-5 deficit in their #1 doubles match, only to lose 6-8 in one of the best matches of the day.
CV travels to Kingswood on Thursday.
