BISHOP BRADY HIGH SCHOOL: 24
The JV Cougars kept rolling yesterday with a big win against Bishop Brady, 61-24, to improve to 10-4 on the season. In impressive fashion, the JV Cougars have held their opponents to under 24 points in consecutive games. The JV Cougars let up no more than 8 points in any quarter and only 8 field goals in the entire game.
12 out of the 13 Cougars scored yesterday. Christian Buffum was on fire, finding his groove again, hitting 4 three pointers and ending up with 13 points on the day. Joe Gutwein also chipped in 13. Zach Burgess and Owen McGuire each had 5 while Alex Heck, Zander Carignan, Noah Stewart, and Ethan Kinney all had 4. James Cook played a great game on the boards, boxing out, and moving on offense. Austin Klonel also gave some great intensity and effort in his minutes.
The JV Cougars travel to Manchester West on Thursday for a 430 start.
