The boys JV Cougars continued rolling yesterday with their biggest win of the season at John Stark winning 73-41 to move to 6 - 2 on the year. The Cougars starting five put their foot on the gas and took John Stark out of the game right from the start scoring a whopping 29 points in the first quarter. Even more impressive, they held John Stark to just 8 points in the first. The Cougars put together a fantastic offensive game which featured magnificent transition and great ball movement. Defensively the Cougars got their hands in the passing lanes, dove for loose balls, and out hustled John Stark in every aspect.

The older classmen showed composure and great leadership as the youngsters were able to get some big minutes yesterday. Leading the way in scoring was Emerson Craven, who has strung together three great games in a row on the Cougars 3 game win streak, with 13. Zach Burgess has his three point shot working as he netted 11. Christian Buffum chipped in 7. Youngsters Noah Stewart (8 points), Ethan Kinney (7 points), and Austin Klonel (6 points) all made the most of their extended minutes with great work ethic and great team play.

The JV Cougars next travel to Kennett on Friday evening for a 5 o clock game in North Conway. Great job Cougars!
