The JV Cougars lost their first game of the season last Friday at home to Kennett.
The Cougars faced their toughest challenge of the year, with Kennett having 6 of their 10 rostered players playing Varsity basketball. The Cougars held their own, made a good run to start the second half, but just couldn't gain enough momentum.
The play and toughness of Max Scheinblum was greatly missed off the bench. Erich Clark stepped up ready to the challenge, putting in his best overall game of the season. He had a game high 16 points. Austin Knight chipped in 11.
The JV Cougars next travel to Sanborn on Wednesday 1/30.
