The JV Cougars have done it again. They improve their successful season to 8-0 with their best team effort of the year!

The JV Cougars tied their season high of 67 points, and beat John Stark 67-50 yesterday afternoon.

Every Cougar on the roster scored a bucket yesterday! The Cougars moved the ball on offense, played tenacious defense, got out to a good start and never looked back.

Alex Heck earned Player of the Game honors. The Freshman played fantastic defense, minimized his turnovers, and put in his season high six points with some nice work in the paint and a sweet little baseline jumper. The Freshman put in a lot of great minutes yesterday, which generated numerous compliments from the players that were on the bench, and also got some great cheers from his teammates.

Austin Knight was at it again putting up a Cougar high 17 for the game including going 3 for 3 from the free throw line. Will Theriault dropped 13 of his own, James Cook put in 7, Malachi Page and Maz Scheinblum had 6 a piece, and Owen Michaels threw in 5.

The Cougars move the ball on offense in fantastic fashion. Their excitement for each others success was the best part of yesterdays game and something we are looking to continue. Nice job JV Cougars!

The JV Cougars look to continue their season this Friday at home against a tough Kennett squad. Tip off at 500. We hope the gym is a little warmer this time.
