NEWPORT HIGH SCHOOL: 1
CVFH pulled out a win tonight vs Newport.
Cruz Dellsanta opened up the game in the first half for us to go up 1-0. Newport responded with a goal tying it up just before the half.
After a back and forth second half, Dee Kashulines found the back of the net to put us ahead and we held off Newport to get the win.
Goalie Taylor Jarest had 16 saves on the night.
We have our senior game Friday at 4 pm, vs Conant and finish out the regular season with an away game at Mascenic.
