What an UNBELIEVABLE game tonight!
It was Senior Night down on the field hockey field and Hollis/Brookline went up 3-0 in the fist half. When we responded in the second half, it was loud and clear that we were not going down without a fight! We came back with 3 goals ourselves in the 47th, 49 and 54th minutes of play! It was the strongest comeback this season. In the end, the Cavaliers scored once more to go ahead, but we kept fighting till the final horn sounded!
With incredible help from our entire team, junior Natalie Lafleur and senior Sara Krslovic found one another again and again. LaFleur scored first, with the assist going to Krslovic. Sara scored the second goal on a fantastic reverse shot that found it's way, all alone to the back of the Hollis/Brookline net. Natalie scored again bringing us within one, with the assist going to Krslovic once more.
It was one of the most exciting games of our entire season!
We finish out next Thursday, on the road at Amherst with an away game at Souhegan 7pm, under the lights.
