Hard to believe that it's almost October, we made the trip to Milford and played in some incredible heat!
Milford came out strong and scored in the first quarter of the game (played that due to the heat). We responded with a goal by senior forward, Kelly O'Sullivan off an assist by junior Cruz Dellsanta.
O'Sullivan was the lone scorer for us on the night, but we had several other solid opportunities, but just weren't able to find the back of the net.
Milford came back with another pair in the second half to end it 3-1.
Goalie Taylor Jarest and the defensive unit held the Spartans scoreless on 7 corners and fought off 12 other shots on goal.
We head to Conant Wednesday for another match up with the Orioles.
