Both Varsity & JV's lit up the stadium field with a pair of wins over Oyster River Friday night.
Starting at 5 pm, the JV's opened the night with a 5-0 win over Oyster River. It set the stage for the Varsity game, which started at 7 pm. The score was 0-0 at the end of the half, but the Bobcats hit the back of the net at the beginning of the second. ConVal took multiple shots, but wasn't until about 6 minutes to go that Hannah Garfinkle scored off an assist from Dee Kashulines. After getting the ball back from Oyster River at the 50, the team marched right back down the field and Garfinkle found the back of the net with a reverse tip off Hannah Zanga, putting the Cougars up 2-1. They held off the Bobcats for the last few minutes to give us an exciting win under the lights!
We head to Windham tomorrow.
It was a TOTAL team effort, with everyone participating!
