The ConVal Cougars picked up their fourth win of the season at home on Friday night, 55-21 over TrinitySenior captain Danny Parker led the way for the Cougars (now 4-1), who jumped out to a 48-0 lead in the first half and never looked back. Parker finished the night with 2 offensive touchdowns, 2 interceptions on defense, and a defensive touchdown on a pick-six.The Cougars also got great contributions on offense from senior captain Liam Baldwin, who had 2 touchdown receptions and 75 yards receiving and Isaac Bacon (3 catches, 80 yards, 1 TD). Dan Spezzaferri finished the night 8-11 for 170 yards and 4 passing TDs.Defensively the Cougars also had great contributions from jr Dan Curran (8 Tackles, 2 tackles for loss), Hunter Gullage (4 tackles, 1 INT, 2 pass break ups) and Ian Labelle (6 tackles).ConVal returns to action next Saturday afternoon as they travel to Hollis Brookline to take on the Cavaliers. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
