The Generals of John Stark came to ConVal for the Cougar's Homecoming game yesterday. John Stark came out with some great passing, scoring in the 1st quarter. The Cougars were able to keep up the pressure and come back with an equalizer early in the 2nd quarter with senior Hayden Kaltsas dishing to junior Lucy Jackson to sneak one by the John Stark goalie. Play continued going back and forth into the 3rd quarter, when the Generals were able to get ahead 2-1. Seniors Makennah McPherson, Hayden Kaltsas, Laramie Wilson and junior Lucy Jackson all got shots on goal during the game. Sophomore Abby Peters made another great defensive save in the game for the Cougars. John Stark was able to get one more goal late in the 4th quarter, defeating the Cougars 3-1. Senior goalie Lydia Cleveland had an amazing game in goal for the Cougars, tallying 35 saves for the day. The lone goal for the Cougars was only the second time John Stark has given up a goal all season, and although their record doesn't show it, the Cougars have had some great games, having one goal differential results all season, with just the last two games being 2 goal differentials. The Cougars travel to Goffstown on Tuesday for their next game. 

The JV team then took the field and played a tough defensive battle against John Stark. Sophomore goalie Ronia Foeking made some great saves, tallying 9 saves for the day, but the Generals were able to find the back of the net twice as the Cougars fell to John Stark 0-2.
