The ConVal Cougars picked up their second win of the season at home on Friday night, 54-12 over Kingswood.
ConVal (2-1) had a balanced offensive attack, with 5 different players scoring touchdowns. Junior QB Dan Spezzaferri led the offense in scoring, completing 12 passes for 219 yards and 3 TDs, while also picking up another 2 TDs rushing and 76 yards on 11 carries. Isaac Bacon led all receivers with 7 catches for 155 yards and 3 TDs. Danny Parker led the Cougars on the ground with 17 carries for 113 yards and a TD.
Defensively the Cougars were led by junior nose tackle Dan Curran, who posted a team high 12 tackles, 5 and a half of which were tackles for a loss. Ian LaBelle and AndrewStockwell also had double digit tackles for ConVal, and Liam Baldwin picked up his 2nd INT of the season.
ConVal returns to action next Saturday on the road against Sanborn. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.
